ALL new clients must book a complimentary consultation prior to their booking to go through skin testing and expectations of their visit, this usually takes around 20 minutes. This service is open to existing clients too if there are matters to be discussed to allow our stylists the best preparation for your visit. Please feel free to bring in any aids to help support your consultation, images of both what you like and what you don't like are a great visual help.
Our hair care company, La Biosthetique, offer a wide range of skin care products and make up available to all clients, of which all of our stylists are qualified in to advise you what is suitable for your own skin type and colouring.
We also offer an in house Nail Technician, who specialises in Gel Bottle and Calgel .

The legal stuff.
1. Skin Testing and colour.
All colour clients must be skin tested at least 48 hours before their first colour application by law, this skin test will cover you for 12 months before having to be reapplied. This is to ensure that you bear no sensitivity or reaction to our colour brand. Sensitivities can occur for numerous reasons, and does not mean you cannot have your hair coloured. Every Hairatage colour client receives a complimentary scalp protecting treatment before their colour is applied to ensure ultimate comfort whilst your colour develops, and protects your scalps' acid mantle by retaining the moisture in the skin. By law, we cannot colour anyone's hair under the age of 16.
2. General advice.
Please keep your stylist informed of any changes to your lifestyle, whether it be diet, medication, illness, pregnancy or any unusual activity, as all of these factors can have huge effect on your hair and your stylist can advise you if need be. Every client is offered a consultation before every appointment to discuss any changes or requirements.
3. Cancellation Policy.
We require at least 24 hours notice prior to your scheduled appointment if you need to cancel. Failure to do so will incur a percentage of your final bill being charged on your next appointment. Please note, if no notice is given and an appointment is missed, we reserve the right to collect 100% of your final bill.
4. Gift Vouchers.
All gift vouchers are valid for 12 months. Please ensure you redeem your voucher before the expiry date to avoid disappointment. There are no refunds available for gift vouchers.
a. Being on time for your appointment is greatly appreciated, as our stylists get very busy and may not be able to offer you the full service time if lateness occurs. In the event that you are running late, please let us know at your earliest convenience and we will try our very best to accommodate you.
b. To ensure every client enjoys their visit, we apply a certain salon etiquette to our working day of being considerate to those around you. We respect that every client is individual and has different needs, however keeping phones on silent and children occupied whilst in the salon creates a serene environment for everyone. Where possible, we will always accommodate you to your own privacy in the salon.
c. Everything and anything that goes on in the salon, from the data protection act to your personal conversations is 100% confidential and a rule all of our stylist abide by.
